Tally Ho Design works closely with each client to create strategic branding and design solutions. We believe design should be approachable.
If that sounds good, give us a call. We’ll be the ones answering the phone.
Tally Ho Design can help tell your story.
Before co-founding Tally Ho Design in 2015, Ted was design director at Burlington City Arts for five years, where he was responsible for the visual look and feel for dozens of contemporary art exhibitions per year, the BCA Education program, as well as numerous special events and festivals—most notably Festival of Fools and the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival.
Previous to BCA, Ted headed up the concept and design for Giant Bicycles “RideLife” campaign, which is still in use today in social media. He has also contributed to other clients such as: Harley Davidson, Burton Snowboards, Microsoft Xbox, Merrell Footwear, Pepsi, Minnesota Twins, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and 3ByMe.
Along with the national brands, Ted also designs for local Winooski clients like Sloane Mercantile, a vintage boutique retailer, Waking Windows, a 3-day music festival in downtown Winooski, and the Winooski Community Partnership, a downtown business effort for the growth and revitalization of downtown Winooski.
Ted originally hails from Minneapolis, but now makes his home in a mid-century (trying to make “modern”) ranch in Winooski with his wife, 4-year-old daughter, and two naughty cats. He enjoys all forms of cycling and camping, has a love for radio-controlled vehicles, and is an all-around hobbyist and tinkerer.
Dave Barron has been designing for companies large and small for the past 12 years. A Vermont-transplant from Boston, Dave specializes in branding across multiple media, including print, web and environmental.
Prior to Tally Ho Design, Dave was the principal and founder of Dave Barron Design, a branding and web studio serving clients in Vermont and beyond. He has worked with various hospitality clients including Bluebird Barbecue and The Essex Resort & Spa as well as clients in other industries, including The University of Vermont Medical Center, Middlebury College, Seventh Generation, and the Vermont International Film Foundation.
In the past, he’s worked with Tufts University, Luxury Resorts, The London NYC, and Boston Architectural College. In addition to national clients, Dave also works with local businesses and start-ups, including Sweet Lady Jane, Trinket, and The Inn at Weston.
Dave lives in Burlington, Vermont with his wife, daughter, and two cats that are impeccably behaved. When he’s not speaking, thinking, or dreaming of design, he also likes to fly-fish and snowboard (though not at the same time.)
